All of our sales recruiters used to carry a quota, and know what makes up a successful sales team. We study our client’s culture and selling approach to ensure that we bring on the right people. Sales managers have little time to waste meeting with the wrong candidates so we ensure that we’ll send you great matches.

Few recruiters have the management contacts Clovis has. And even fewer have spent time managing organizations at high-flying start-ups. Many of our recruiters, including the company’s founders, worked at high-flying, venture-backed start-ups and know what VCs expect from their portfolio companies. We know that recruits for venture backed firms need to have a high-risk threshold. We also know they need to be able to work under challenging circumstances often with less support and less resources than they are used to having.
VCs also like to work with Clovis because we only work with "A-level" performers. Start-ups will not be successful unless they can build a team of high-performers. Clovis knows what these people look like, which ones are real, and which ones would be successful in venture-backed enterprise.
Start Up CEO
The challenges facing start up CEOs are enormous, yet time and time again the number one need comes back to people. Many of our recruiters have spent years at fast-paced, high flying start up and know the kind of people who succeed there. We only work with "A-level" performers and help CEOs build out their organization with the right types of employees.
We also know that as critical as finding the right people is, start up CEOs also need to deal with funding sources, manage product development, sometimes manage operations, and put processes in place. In a very short time, we can assess the need, understand the corporate culture and quickly identify the right candidates without much input from the CEO.

HR Manager
HR managers only want to work with recruiting firms that will bring them the right candidates with no hassles. HR managers also want recruiters who are flexible, easy to work with, and able to work with limited guidance. They are often responsible for bringing the best candidates to the hiring managers at their company and want to ensure that they can service their internal clients.
