Biometrics

Clovis is emerging as a key partner for providing biometric project support solutions. Clovis consulting resources were critical in the design phases of the CBP’s Secure Border Initiative (SBI Net) project. Clovis identified and recruited senior systems engineers with domain expertise in system interoperability, video surveillance and Geographic Information System (GIS) displays. Clovis currently has consultants supporting Federal biometric programs in the area of solutions architecture, identity management, biometric planning and physical and logical security.

Microsoft Solutions
An established Clovis core competency, we have consultants on various Microsoft projects in Federal entities which include DHA, CBP, ICE, FAA, DOT and DOD. Microsoft competencies include:

The ability of Clovis to be an effective Microsoft Solutions provider in the Federal market was demonstrated when a Federal contractor turned to Clovis to secure quality consultants on a major DHS project. When our client was tasked with one of the largest SharePoint 2007 customization and implementation projects in the country, they needed consultants with this hard to find, specialty skill set and Top Secret clearance. Clovis quickly provided a number of qualified consultants.

Project Management

Clovis understands the role of an IT Program Management Office (PMO) and Federal Program and Project Managers. We are experienced in finding and attracting candidates with SDLC experience and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. Clovis has the ability to provide IT Program Managers with all levels of clearances.

Examples of Clovis’ success in the Project Management discipline include:

• Establishing and staffing the PMO of a large international organization. This organization recently established its central IT PMO office and was having trouble finding anyone knowledgeable and experienced enough to structure and staff the office. Within two weeks, Clovis was able to provide a qualified PMO to establish and run its Washington, DC headquarters office. In addition, Clovis continues to provide Program Managers to that office as it becomes operational and manages IT projects for the organization.
• Providing ongoing Project Manager support to a large, biotechnology company. Prior to coming to Clovis, this client had trouble finding talented Project Managers with biotechnology industry experience and PMP certifications. Within a very short time period, Clovis was able to provide the required Project Managers and now staffs over 12 Project Management consultants on various projects.

Staff Augmentation

Clovis has emerged as a leading provider of on-demand solutions for specialty and hard to fill positions. Clovis supports Federal contracts in over 20 agencies and Departments. Our ability to perform quickly, efficiently and effectively has resulted in Federal contractors turning to Clovis to meet project requirements. For example, our successful performance on the SBI Net project lead one Federal partner to also use Clovis to fill difficult to find, senior level software engineers for the Federal Western Hemisphere International Travel Initiative (WHITI).
